WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT
GLAMRD is experiencing major growth and is looking for a Creative Director that can take the brand to the next level and take on the lead role in helping visually define the brand story. The Creative Director is the key role in ensuring that all visual assets, visual storytelling and brand touch-points are consistent, elevated and on brand with Glamsquad’s brand DNA. The Creative Director will be drive the translation of the overall business objectives into a compelling brand experience. He/she will be responsible for creative idea generation and execution across all channels and branding initiatives. The ideal candidate is creative, collaborative, a do-er and versatile and will thrive in an entrepreneurial and fast-paced environment. This role will be reporting to the CMO
WHAT YOU’LL DO
Deliver innovative and beautiful design directions and solutions that elevate the GLAMSQUAD brand
Set direction and lead creative ideas and execution for seasonal campaign photo shoots
Guide the creative development and execution for brand identity, voice, and messaging across all aspects of the brand experience including all channels and media vehicles
Plan the creative process & create/produce the highest quality assets for emails, social, printed materials, and campaigns
Provide creative direction and design for all email creation & social media content
Collaborate with key team members to set the strategy of how design brings the brand to life and use this strategy to guide the priorities and output of team
WHAT YOU’LL BRING
Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts, Marketing, Design or something similar
6+ years of experience leading creative teams to drive breakthrough results
Strong experience and knowledge of best practices in creating digital creative assets (emails, social media, etc)
Beauty/fashion/start up experience a plus
Progressive graphical design and art direction experience
Creatively and analytically balanced; able to initiate creative solutions and implement and evaluate results
Art direction background with expertise in concepting and directing shoots for multiple platform applications
Strong aesthetic that aligns with and elevates the GLAMRD brand
Strong business acumen, with a solid understanding of how to achieve business objectives while meeting an expected brand standard and high bar for aesthetic quality
Required: Submit a Creative portfolio of results oriented work that shows diversity of experience across both online and offline media and retail channels.
